The addition of the signs came about after the Oskaloosa City Council approved third reading of an ordinance to have the signs installed at Monday's city council meeting. This ordinance was initiated after a local resident expressed safety concerns about the intersection. Councilman Aaron Ver Steeg was the only council member to vote against the signs.
