‘Potty trading’ to raise money in Centerville

CENTERVILLE — Junior class students are using toilets for the “You’ve Been Flushed by the Junior Class” as a fundraiser, placing decorated and handcrafted toilets in a person’s yard.

Recipients are selected by another person at a cost of $10. In order for the homeowner who received the “Flush” to remove the toilet, they can pay $10 and send it on to another location. They may also pay $20 for yard insurance to ensure they never get one back.

Five toilets are out and about in the city of Centerville. All money that is raised will go towards the final costs of the Junior/Senior prom, with a target of between $8,000 to $10,000.
