Stop, stop, stop
OSKALOOSA — Herald photo by Andy Goodell/The three-way intersection of North I Street and M Avenue West pictured here will soon see the addition of three stop signs. The addition of the signs came about after the Oskaloosa City Council approved third reading of an ordinance to have the signs installed at Monday's city council meeting. This ordinance was initiated after a local resident expressed safety concerns about the intersection. Councilman Aaron Ver Steeg was the only council member to vote against the signs. "It's pointless," he said Monday evenin.
