OSKALOOSA —
Tickets for President Barack Obama’s visit to Oskaloosa may be picked up at the Obama For America (OFA) headquarters in Oskaloosa.
The Obama For America office is located at 201 High Ave. E. in Oskaloosa — site of the old Stapp’s Purity Drug, Dr. Phillip’s office, and most recently, ArrowQuick Solutions — across the street from the Mahaska County Courthouse.
Tickets are free to the public and will be available at 11 a.m. Saturday. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This tree, which stands in front of the SHARE Iowa building at 1102 South Seventh Street this morning, appears damaged from the storms that moved through the area overnight. According to the National Weather Service, there are slight chances for thunderstorms in the Oskaloosa area today and tonight, as well as Friday. However, greater chances for thunderstorms remain for Sunday, Sunday night and Monday, according to the NWS.
