OSKALOOSA — The Oskaloosa Municipal Water Department will be conducting its biannual hydrant flushing beginning Monday, March 22.
This will last approximately two weeks. You may notice low pressure and cloudy or discolored water.
The water, even though discolored, will remain safe to drink. Refrain from washing laundry if you notice this change in your water, as staining is possible. The water should clear up as crews continue flushing.
Crews will be moving throughout various areas of town during this period. The Water Department would like to take the time to thank all of its customers in advance for being patient as the department completes this task.
