OSKALOOSA —
The Mahaska County Board of Supervisors approved financial support for the AREA 15 Regional Planning Commission at its meeting Monday morning.
Board Chairman Greg Gordy said the regional planning commission is increasing its asking from counties — which would be a $4,585 for Mahaska County.
In other action, the supervisors approved the first reading of the General Relief Ordinance. The supervisors will take up the second reading of the ordinance at their next meeting slated for 9 a.m. on Feb. 4.
The supervisors also appointed Sandy Bailey to a seat on the Compensation Commission.
