OSKALOOSA — A motorist was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of A Avenue West in Oskaloosa. A 1992 Jeep Cherokee struck a light pole at the Casey’s General Store. Oskaloosa Fire Capt. Dave Christenson said firefighters were on the scene for 30 to 40 minutes to do accident scene clean-up and to cut electric power to the pole. Mahaska Ambulance transported the motorist to Mahaska Health Partnership.
