OSKALOOSA — Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident about 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Highway 92, west of Oskaloosa. The two motorists were trapped inside their green pick-up truck and members of the Oskaloosa Fire Department, Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office and Oskaloosa Police Department freed them. They were transported to Mahaska Health Partnership by Mahaska Ambulance.

At Arms Fred Bridges said the veterans retired about 500 U.S., state and military service flags. They conduct the ceremony once a year on Flag Day.
