OSKALOOSA —
You are invited to come and see Bob Toomer of Utah, who will be demonstrating “Life Lessons from the Round Pen” at the Horse Pen at the Southern Iowa Fair Grounds in Oskaloosa, on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 2 p.m.
Toomer is a follower of what is sometimes known as the “horse whisperer” school of horse training.
Using Biblical truths and a balance of trust, respect and understanding he takes an unbroken horse into a round pen and in two hours rides the horse.
The event is sponsored by Bethel Baptist Church and H & S Feed Store. Admission is free and door prizes will be given by H & S Feed. Call 673-7623 for more information.
