LAKELAND, Fla. —
Shaun Michael Pleima, 22, died June 29, 2012, as a result of a car accident near Melbourne, Fla.
Shaun was born Sept. 9, 1989, to Steve and Rhonda (Jansen) Pleima in Oskaloosa. He and his family moved to Lakeland in 1998.
Shaun graduated from Lakeland Christian School in 2007, and was currently attending the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Shaun was employed at Bahama Breeze, Waterford Lakes, as a server/shift captain/team leader. He was also employed as an IT Technician at Sterling Central, where he lived. Shaun was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lakeland.
Shaun was preceded in death by his grandmother, Norma June Pleima. He is survived by his parents, sister, Renae Pleima, grandparents, Nelson Pleima and Robert and Alenna Jansen, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shaun never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by his wide circle of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 S. Ingraham Ave., Lakeland. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 301 N. Florida Ave., Lakeland. Burial will be at Oak Hill Burial Park.
