OSKALOOSA —
Kathie Edgington, 42, of Oskaloosa, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. She was born Jan. 30, 1971, at Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Leslie Gene and Helen E. Chandler Edgington. In 1987, Kathie was involved in an auto mobile accident which left her disabled. Kathie was an animal lover, and enjoyed music. She also enjoyed traveling to concerts with Wayne. She attended the Omega Church in Oskaloosa.
Her family includes her daughter, Amber Sehlstrom (& John Illian) of Oskaloosa; her mother, Helen Edgington of Oskaloosa; close friend, Wayne Sehlstrom of Beacon; four brothers, Charles (& Lisa) Nine of Eagle Grove, Daryl Nine of Russell, Frank (& Lisa) Nine of Sumter, South Carolina, and Leslie Edgington of Russell.
Kathie was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Kim Edgington; and a brother, Patrick Nine.
As was Kathie’s wish, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences to the Edgington Family may be sent to the Bates Funeral Chapel, 114 South 7th Street, Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577, and will be forwarded to the family.
