WHAT CHEER — Max Roeder, 82, of What Cheer, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Mahaska Hospital.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 8, at the Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer. Visitation was held on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A committal service will be held at the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery at 2 p.m., Monday afternoon in Brooklyn.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa.
