JONESBORO, Ark. —
Barbara Hugen Erickson, 65, of Jonesboro, formerly of Paragould, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.
She was born Jan. 6, 1947. She graduated from Oskaloosa Senior High School, class of 1965. She graduated from Arkansas State University with an associates degree as an RN. She was a member of the Central Reformed Church of Oskaloosa. Barbara was a retired Registered Nurse having worked at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould Nursing Center, Greene Acres Nursing Home, Pella Nursing Home and was also a traveling nurse. She attended the Methodist church in Jonesboro, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Erickson; parents Henry and Helen DeHeer Hugen, grandparents, Teunis and Clara DeHeer, of Oskaloosa, Dick and Minnie Hugen, of Pella.
Survivors include son, Tim Erickson, of Paragould; daughter Melissa Aiken, of Collierville, Tenn.; brother Larry Hugen, of Iowa City; sister Connie Hayden of Chicago, Ill.; nieces Michelle McCoy and Addison Hugen; nephews Clay and Hank Hugen; grandchildren, Samantha, Miranda, and Katie Erickson and Bennett Aiken.
