OSKALOOSA — By a 3-2 margin, those who answered this past week’s Question of the Week: What do you think of the new “Star Trek” movie? approved of it.
Twelve — 60 percent — answered IT ROCKS while eight — 40 percent — said BEAM ME OUTTA HERE SCOTTY!
The Question of the Week poll is not scientific and only reflects the opinions of those Internet users who have chosen to participate. The Question of the Week is just another way the Herald’s readers can voice their opinions about issues that affect them.
This week’s Question of the Week deals with Miss California USA Carrie Prejean keeping her crown.
This past month, Prejean caused a stir at the Miss USA pageant when she answered a question by blogger Perez Hilton that marriage should only be between a man and a woman.
Then, she came under fire for working with gay marriage opponents and having a photo surface of her wearing only underwear. Her crown was in jeopardy.
However, pageant owner Donald Trump decided to let her keep her crown.
Did Trump make the right call?
