EDDYVILLE —
It was a great weekend of racing at Eddyville Raceway Park. Friday was test-n-tune and the final Midnight Madness. Saturday was a fun day, gambler race and bike classes.
Eric Fox from Oskaloosa was in the final going against Zach Gibbons from Des Moines in the Heads Up Street Car class. Fox was first off the line and across the finish line to claimthe win.
In the FWD Dot Tire class, Kyle Boyd from Ottumwa went against James Sayers from Fairfield. Boyd had the better reaction and faster elapsed time to claim the win.
Greg Allen from Des Moines went against Jim VanZee from Oskaloosa in the No Box class. VanZee ran closer to his dial-in, but a slower reaction time was enough for Allen to claim the win.
Sunday was R/J Performance fun day.
In the No Box class, Tom Roetlin from Cedar Rapids went against Tim Sparks from University Park. Sparks ran closer to his dial-in, but a better reaction time by Roetlin was enough for him to claim the win.
There was also four bike classes and Scott Parker from Silvis, Ill., was kept busy as he was in the finals of three of them, claiming three wins.
This weekend will be the Halloween Nationals for Jr. Dragsters racing three days and no regular cars will be allowed to run.
