OSKALOOSA —
The 68th Annual Oskaloosa City Golf Tournament is set for Saturday and Sunday at Edmundson Golf Course.
The defending men’s champion is Evan Thomas while Mary Sauter is the defending champion.
Jeff Smith, Firector of Golf at Edmundson and Harvest Point Golf Courses, said he is not certain Sauter will be able to play in this year’s event.
The 36-hole tournament is slate to have 11-time champion Mike Smith and Steve Hicks, a two-time winner entered. Four-time champion Mitch Tucker is not entered as of Wednesday.
Jeff Smith said players have until Friday afternoon to sign up and play in the tournament.
He said the course is in pretty good shape despite the heat and lack of rain recently.
“The greens are in good shape and the fairways have been watered,” he said.
Call Edmundson Golf Course at 673-5120 for more information on the tournament.
