AMES — Oskaloosa and Twin Cedars competed in the ISU Indoor meet Monday night.
The top finisher for the Indians was Brooke VanHouweling in the 800-meter run as she ran a time of 2:32.02.
MaKena Veldhuizen came in 15th in the 60 dash in 8:51 while teammate Brittni martin was 39th in 8.75.
Alanna LeMay recorded a personal-best time in the 3,000 with a time of 12:56.77.
The Sabers’ Lindsay Hoehns was fourth in the high jump with an effort of 5 feet, 2 inches while getting a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 16-5.
Oskaloosa coach Betsy Luck said this was a “great meet for the girls.”
Oskaloosa is in action on March 23 at the state indoor meet at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
