OSKALOOSA — Lindsay Hoehns of Twin Cedars and Acacia LaRue of North Mahaska were honored by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association for their accomplishments on the basketball court this past season.
Both were named to the Class 1A team with Hoehns being selected to the first team and LaRue on the third team.
Hoehns averaged 25.4 points and 11.9 rebounds a game for the Sabers. She recorded 51 assists, 84 steals and had 15 blocks.
LaRue helped the Warhawks to a 24-1 record and the South Iowa Cedar League championship. She averaged 11.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
