OSKALOOSA —
The William Penn Men’s Basketball team will be returning to Oskaloosa on Wednesday, March 13, after a historic run in the NAIA Division II National Championships.
Welcome home the team by lining the streets of the Oskaloosa Town Square at around 3:30 p.m.
The team, along with the WPU Pep Band, Cheerleaders, and mascot Willy P will be escorted by local law enforcement back into the area and will circle the Town Square as they make their way back to the campus of William Penn University.
For those on campus, greet the team as the bus returns to WPU at approximately 3:45 p.m. in front of the south entrance to Penn Gymnasium on Trueblood Avenue.
An official University and community celebration ceremony, that will be open to the public, is scheduled for Thursday, March 21, at 11:15 a.m. in the William Penn University Gymnasium. Details to follow.
