OSKALOOSA —
The Iowa Compulsory State Championships finished last Sunday, Dec. 9, with the Level 4 gymnasts. Transform Academy’s Level 4 team had a great meet. All four gymnasts left the arena well-decorated, bringing home 8 of Transform Academy’s 15 medals. All scored new season highs on bars and another event, and two had their season best all-around scores. Coach Meghan Slay said her team has been working hard this season and the hard work paid off. Transform Academy gymnasts left their first state meet with no falls on beam, one gold, five silver, and nine bronze medals.
This concludes the normal competition season for the compulsory gymnasts. The season for the Optional gymnasts will soon be underway.
