Indian spikers top Cardinals
NEWTON — Oskaloosa had a solid match against Little Hawkeye Conference foe Newton Tuesday night.
The Indians won the first two sets and took the match with a win in the fourth set to improve to 4-2 in conference play. They toppled the Cardinals 26-24, 25-22, 18-25 and 25-13.
Oskaloosa is 11-17 on the season.
Shawn Rielly led the Indians with five kills and 19 assists while Jacque Terrell had five aces and a team-high six kills.
Oskaloosa hosts top-ranked (Class 4A) Ankeny Thursday night. It will be Senior Night.
