THORNBURG — Using a mixture of junior varsity and freshman players, Oskaloosa came out victorious in the Tri-County Junior Varsity Basketball Tournament on Saturday.
The Indians won the first game against English Valleys 28-27 then beat Sigourney in the second and final game of the tournament.
Kayley Keller led Oskaloosa against English Valleys with 10 points as Lexi Howard scored six. Getting four points were Shawni Wills and Chelsea Brandt while the duo of Kayla DeRonde and Katelyn Hasselman had two points apiece.
Kenzie Seaton was the top scorer for the Indians in the win against Sigourney as she tallied 11 points. Howard added six while Keller contributed five points. Wills scored four and Hasselman rounded out the scoring with three points.
