GRINNELL —
Oskaloosa competed in the Little Hawkeye Conference Indoor meet Friday in Grinnell College.
While no team scores were kept, the Indians won two events each among the boys and girls.
Taylor Richardson won the long jump with an effort of 16 feet, 2 inches while the shuttle hurdle relay foursome of Kenzie Gunter, Maria Settimi, Kelsie Tomlin and Richardson had a winning time of 41.58 seconds.
The Oskaloosa boys had winners in Drew Richmond, who leaped 20-1.25 to claim the long jump title, and Ryan Reiter, who won the high jump with a personal best effort of 5-10.
The girls will compete in the state indoor meet at UNI on March 18 while the boys will bet at Centerville on March 26.
